Download Facebook videos

Paste a public Facebook link and save the video. Feed videos, Reels and Watch clips all go in the same box.

Start with FSave

Opens fsave.net in a new tab.

Download a public Facebook video

Use the link from the post share menu. The address in your browser bar sometimes carries your session in it and points at a page only you can open.

Facebook serves the picture and the sound as separate streams. The sites listed here combine them, so what you save is a single MP4 with sound, not a silent file.

Download Facebook Reels

A Reel is a vertical video with its own share link, usually starting with /reel/. Paste it as it is.

Reels are the shape most affected by the login wall. If a Reel refuses to load, opening the post in a browser where you are not signed in is a good way to check whether it is public at all.

Picking a quality

Most posts offer an HD and an SD version. HD is the uploaded quality; SD is a smaller copy Facebook makes for slow connections.

Some newer uploads use VP9, which not every phone can play. Converting them to H.264 fixes that, but it takes longer and makes the file larger than the original.

What you get

TypeContainerTypical quality
Feed video, HDMP4, H.264up to 1080p
Feed video, SDMP4, H.264360p to 480p
ReelMP4, H.264vertical, up to 1080p

What will not work

  • Anything that needs a login: friends-only posts, private groups, and private profiles.
  • Stories, which expire and are tied to the account that can see them.
  • Videos in a group you joined. That membership belongs to your account and does not travel with the link.
  • Posts deleted between copying the link and pasting it.
If nothing loads
Open the link in a private browser window first. If Facebook asks you to log in there, the post is not public and no tool can reach it.

Which Facebook site to use

The button above opens FSave. The other sites listed below also handle Facebook links. If one is slow or unavailable for you, try another.

How it works

  1. Copy the link to the Facebook post from the share menu.
  2. Paste it into the box on FSave.
  3. Pick the quality you want and save the file.
